DEMO si COMPETIȚII
MECIUL DEMO DE TENIS ROMANIA vs. WORLD a adus în lumina reflectoarelor sportivi de calibru mondial: Simona Halep, Marius Copil, Fabio Fognini și Daniela Hantuchová și a fost emoție pură pentru cei din sală, dar și pentru cei din teren. Au fost celebrați atât cei care au ajuns pe podium, cât și campionii din spatele campionilor. Am dedicat un moment special pentru a aduce un omagiu familiei Simonei Halep, unul dintre cei mai mari sportivi ai Românei.
Meciul a fost SOLD OUT. 9.000 de oameni au respirat și au râs la unison în BT Arena, urmârind un demonstrativ de excepție cu improvizații și multe momente amuzante care au remintit oamenilor ca SPORT IS FUN.
DARREN CAHILL, invitat special al acestei ediții a festivalului, a intrat și el în teren alături de Simona Halep. Au jucat și Andrei Pavel, tatăl Simonei Halep, primarul orașului Cluj-Napoca, Emil Boc, copiii de mingi și arbitri de linie.
Turnul SPORTS FESTIVAL din fața scenei a fost kilometrul zero al evenimentului și atracția principal outdoor. Trupa OK WORLD WIDE, care a făcut senzație în aproape toată lumea, a adus în premieră pentru România un nou concept de show: bagjump acrobatics. Aceștia au făcut acrobații sărind de la 11 metri pe o pernă uriașă. Între demonstrațiile spectaculoase, amatorii de senzații tari au putut și ei experimenta saltul pe airbag. Spectacol a făcut și legenda acrobațiilor pe două roți, Chris Pfeiffer, care a adus la Cluj, tot în premieră pentru România, primul show de e-motorbike stunt. Cei care iubesc adrealina au putut vedea și competițiile de SUPER ENDURO RACE și STRONGEST MAN ROMANIA vs. UNGARIA. “Race your champions. Support your community!” este motto-ul sub care a fost organizat crosul de 5 și cel de 10 kilometri de dumincă. Ciprian Marica a dat startul, iar cei peste 800 de oameni înscriși au alergat alături de campioni precum Paul Georgescu, Vlad Pop Crișan și Laura Popescu. Totul, pentru mișcare, dar și pentru a face România un loc mai bun. O parte din taxa de înscriere a fost direcționată către una din cele 3 cauze sociale susținute: UNICEF, MagiCamp sau Telemedicină în epilepsie.
INIȚIERE
SPORTS FESTIVAL peste 10.000 de oameni, din trecare 4.600 de copii au putut să își descoperi pasiunea pentru sport. Au fost peste 30 de sporturi deschise gratuit celor care au dorit să învețe regulile unui nou joc. Participanții la festival au primit un pașaport sportiv și au fost provocați să bifeze cât mai multe activități sportive pentru a deveni ambasadori SPORTS FESTIVAL.
MASTERCLASS
SPORTS FESTIVAL a deschis anul acesta seria evenimentelor de know-how dedicată profesioniștilor. MASTERCLASS-ul lui Darren Cahill: The art of coaching, a adunat sute de specialiști, antrenori, sportivi și jurnaliști din domeniul sportiv. Antrenorul care a transformat trei jucători în cei mai buni sportivi ai lumii, a venit la Cluj din Australia pentru a participa la SPORTS FESTIVAL și a vorbit despre cum și-a adaptat antrenamentele pentru a scoate la suprafață atuurile fiecărui jucător în parte.
SPORTS TALKS
Cei care au ajuns la SPORTS TALKS în Parcul Central au putut să asculte poveștile de viață și sfaturile unor sportivi de talie mondială și specialiști în domeniul sportiv. Au fost invitați ai acestor dezbateri: Răzvan Mitroi, Mihai Covaliu, Darren Cahill, Alexandru Dedu, Loredana Dinu, Ciprian Marica, Lorand Balint, Adrian Beiu, Camelia Potec, Cristiana Oprea și Andreea Giuclea, echipa INVICTUS ROMÂNIA, Dragoș Luscan și Chris Pfeiffer.
Nu a lipsit de la festival nici zona de FOOD and FUN. La scena SPORTS FESTIVAL au avut loc în fiecare seară show-uri spectaculoase, multe în premieră pentru România, de street workout, street dance, freestyling, urmate de concerte. Au urcat pe scenă: Grasu XXL, Mira, Modiwo și Irina Rimes. Accesul a fost liber.
Cea de-a doua ediție SPORTS FESTIVAL a avut loc în perioada 13-16 iunie, în Cluj-Napoca. În implementarea festivalului au fost atrase:
– peste 50 de cluburi sportive
– 11 federații
– peste 1.000 de sportivi de performanță
– participanți din 12 țări străine: Australia, Austria, Brazilia, Franța, Germania, Italia, Republica Moldova, Rusia, Serbia, Slovacia, SUA, Ungaria.
Evenimentul reprezintă o inițiativă unică în țară care aduce laolaltă profesioniști și amatori și prin care se dorește promovarea mișcării și a unui stil de viață sănătos, dar și alfabetizarea sportivă a publicului.
Eveniment susținut de Banca Transilvania, Super Bet, Cemacon, Iulius Mall, iQuest, Allianz Țiriac, Eon, Capricii și Delicii și Primăria Municipiului Cluj-Napoca.
